O.J.'s Car
My Uncle Bob (Oscar) spent much of my lifetime painstakingly
restoring this 1930's Pontiac. He has since passed away, but his
grandaughter used the car in her wedding this weekend. Again
I was caught up in the reflections you could see in the super
glossy body. If you click on the bottom pic and make it bigger,
you can see me taking the picture.

6 AM
The world is so soft in the early morning on my way back to
Manhattan. It's always jarring to wake up 3 hours later
only to be thrust into the hustle and bustle of the work week.
Although I spend most of my time in New York, it's hard to
say which life I love more.
The Road To Nowhere
I was inspired to take some Black and White
photos from Dorothee Lang's On The Road and
Billie Williams's and Barbara Laucius's shots

Silo
Every once and again I need an escape from the city
so I pack up and head to my childhood home in
Connecticut, which could not be more different from
my home in NY. I love that my 2 homes are polar
opposites.

On the Train
I can't seem to stay away from the reflections. I took
this on the subway tonight to avoid the storms and crazy
heat.

Look Up
Coming out of this builiding tonight, I happened to look up
and I loved the shape it made against the clear blue sky.
On a separate note, I wanted to thank everyone for the
generous comments, and work based on my snapshots.
I am unfortunately not able to leave comments, though
I have tried several times on many of the participants blogs.
I have seen and read some amazing things. I'm going to try to
work off of other participant's posts a few days a week in lieu
of making comments.

Out of the Dark
I was a true New York Lady tonight running/hobbling to
dinner in my heels, texting my dinner dates that I was
going to be late, while intermittently snapping my picture of the
day. I don't really remember taking this, but I like the way the
street seems to be emerging out of the dark.

Reflecting
A store window near my office has these great cactus
shapes cut out of mirrored glass. I liked the way the
camera was picking up both the reflection on the mirror
but also a softer version of the same reflection on the
window glass.
