Oxidized Metal - Bryant Park

                                                
                                                   Today I added 2 snapshots with the same
                                                   theme.  The oxidizing metal around Bryant Park
                                                   really caught my eye,  I loved the hard stark greys
                                                   turning into these beautiful soft greens.  The top
                                                   picture was taken just outside of the park, and the
                                                   oxidation was creating this lovely turquoise Rothko-esque
                                                   look.  The lamppost was inside the park under the trees
                                                  so the diffused sunlight gave it a great hazy pollinated feeling.

    Someone in Soho would have given their eye teeth to have been able to compose the top one, and the second looks both majestic and weary...Nice
